Experience authentic Finnish countryside in the Lake Saimaa region, only 2,5 hour drive from Helsinki. Staying at Löytö Manor, dating back to the early 18th century, you will be sure to get deep into the region’s history whilst enjoying the beautiful pure nature and local delicacies. Day 1 - after arrival you will enjoy a welcome drink and a tour of the manor and estate. After a breather, you will be served a delicious dinner with entertainment. A great night’s sleep will be guaranteed in one of our 3-bedroom villas with beautiful lakeside views, private docks and saunas. Day 2 - After breakfast you will get an introduction to the art of Nordic Pole Walking. Easy but very effective way to get holistic movement for your body whilst enjoying the pure lakeside nature Lake Saimaa region is renowned for. After exercising, we will take a trip to the nearby 6000-year-old Astuvansalmi Rock Paintings, which are the largest collection of rock paintings in the Nordics. After learning about the paintings, we will enjoy snacks and beverages admiring our surroundings. Returning to Löytö you will be served dinner and get to experience a traditional Finnish sauna afterwards. Day 3 - after breakfast you will have free time to explore the estate until check out around noon. This experience is available year-round and includes accommodation, meals and activities.
