Now is the time to think again about the flavors of Christmas and being together over good food. Bring your colleagues, friends or family to enjoy the flavors of the season to our old log cabin in Nikinsalmi. After 60 kilometers drive from Mikkeli you can really immerse yourself into local lifestyle while enjoying seasons flavors. Big wood stove is warm and candles lit, Christmas spirit is on! Christmas dinners are organized this year by order only. The menu is once again prepared by our own local chef Ilkka Arvola and it includes non-alcoholic mulled wine and non-alcoholic food drinks. You can bring alcoholic beverages with you, we are happy to give you drink recommendations. Our food mission is to offer people handmade wild food from the lake, forest and land, always near and sustainably. We catch the fish ourselves with ringed seal-safe gear and grow large part of the vegetables we use by ourselves. Berries, mushrooms and wild herbs are picked by hand and used fresh or preserved in many ways. In addition, we use high-quality ingredients from local and small producers as much as possible.
