Floating raft accommodation on Lake Saimaa near Mikkeli

Here in the silence of nature, sky is not affected by the light pollution of the cities and the air is fresh to breathe. In summer, access to the raft is with an old tarred rowing boat, which also transports the guests a short distance to the sauna raft, using their own muscle power, of course. The accommodation is also winter habitable. During the winter, the rafts are connected to each other near the lake side. ACCOMMODATION PRICE 185 € per night / whole raft The raft has a double bed (120 cm) and the possibility of a spare bed in summertime (1 person). The price of an extra bed is 30 €. The price includes a welcoming drink, a sauna session (self-heating) and the use of a rowing boat during the rental period when the lake is free of ice. You have utensils for food preparing/eating and a compost toilet the raft. There is no running water on the raft (drinking water delivered). In winter the raft is heated with wood stove. If you want to enjoy the flavors of Saimaa, you an order breakfast and dinner baskets delivered to the raft. Breakfast basket price 40 €/2 persons, dinner basket 60 €/2 persons. The content of the baskets changes according to the season. You can also rent open canoes and snowshoes if you want to explore the surroundings by yourself.
