Saimaa Geopark’s natural and cultural site Juva museum on a drumlin ridge is in the Partala area, which is named after the Family of the Partanen. The area was existed already in the Middle Ages. In the middle of the 16th century it was named as Kuninkaankartano – King’s manor. Time as a crown farm was short and Partala returned to the Family of the Partanen. In the area is currently situated Juva’s museum, Juva’s Karelian museum, Gallery Kuninkaankartano and in research building Juva’s truffle center.
