S/S Wenno Steamship Cruises in Puumala, at the Lake Saimaa

Would you go on a cruise by traditional steamboat on the Lake Saimaa? Welcome to the traditional S/S Wenno! Steamship cruises summer 2024 on Mondays 1.7., 8.7., 15.7., 22.7. & 29.7. 18:00-19.30. There will be also a special moonlight cruise 23.8. 19:00-22:00. Tickets: 25€ per adult 10€ per child 0-15 years. Our ship leaves the port of Puumala at 19:00 and returns to the same place at around 22:00 - as it travels with the power of steam, it is not exactly to the minute. The ship can accommodate 99 passengers. There is a cafe in Wenno's hold, where you can get coffee, buns and some refreshments. The ship also has a toilet. We also welcome kind dogs - although the departure and return whistles of Wenno's whistle may be a test for the dog's ears. We ask that you dress according to the weather, your own seat cushions are also welcome, because when weather permitting, we travel on deck. We recommend pre-booking in the online store well in advance, as Wenno's traditional cruises are popular and often sold out. It is the only existent iron-hulled steam pilot from former Saimaa's large tar steam fleet. The S/S Wenno is almost in its 1930s appearance, has an original steam engine and is in the Finnish Museum Agency's heritage ship register.
